Volcanoes National Park is the most famous park in the country and the most visited by the tourists. There is the pilgrimage to Kibeho, Many people come each year not only see the mountain gorillas but also to pilgrimage to the small town in southern Rwanda. This was a place where some young people had visions of Mary appearing to them and telling them about the genocide. In 2001, the Vatican validated the visions and the little town of Kibeho that became the Lourdes of Africa with many pilgrims not only from Rwanda and other African countries but from all over the world.
